2006 Opening Day Celebration - April 8, 2006

The sun came out on Saturday, April 8, 2006 as Commodore Jib Kelly welcomed members and guests to the official opening of our club for the new season.

2006 Commodore's Ball - March 25, 2006

One of the best attended events in recent memory, our 2006 Commodore's Ball featured music, dinner and dancing into the night.

2006 Installation Dinner - January, 2006

In January, club members welcomed our 2006 Officers and Directors to their new term. The celebration included Samba dancers and a delicious dinner menu. Use the link to see more than 60 photos of the event.

Joey and Maria's Hawaiian Honeymoon - February, 2006

After their outrageous dinner/theater "wedding" in 2005, we invited Joey and Maria back to share their honeymoon with the membership. Forget the cold and damp February weather... we brought tropical Hawaii back to the clubhouse for a night of dining and unique entertainment.

Emerald Bay Cruise, July 2005 -

Some twenty five boats made their way to Catalina's Emerald Bay, where CBYC members and guests enjoyed a picture perfect weekend. Jeff Embree caught much of the festivities on digital film, and shares them with us HERE. (Note: By popular demand, these photos are larger than usual. Opening Day 2005 at CBYC -

Hundreds of members and their guests attended our Opening Day celebration on April 9, 2005, enjoying music, food, dancing and camaraderie as we welcomed the new yachting season.

April, 2005 Navy Days L.A. -

CBYC was proud to host the crew of the U.S.S. Stetham, visiting San Pedro as part of the Navy League's annual Navy Days celebration. Jeff Embree provides photos of the event here.

Halloween at CBYC, October, 2004 -

A hauntingly informal affair, the annual Halloween Party found members hobknobbing with goblins and dancing late into the evening. Jeff Embree caught the festivities in pictures, available HERE.

Cherry Cove Cruise, October, 2004 -

Members Dara and Kurt Golden organized one of the years last cruises, this time to Catalina's Cherry Cove. See their photos HERE.

CBYC "Grease" Party -

In August, 2004, we celebrated the 20th anniversary of the movie "Grease," complete with classic cars, motorcycles, costumes and the music of Tommy Tassi and the Authentics. Jeff Embree captured the fun in this Photo Gallery.
