Private Events

Cabrillo Beach Yacht Club is available for CBYC Member and Member sponsored events.  We also serve our neighbors by providing a location for local schools, groups and community service organizations to meet or entertain.

Our beautiful dining room with terrace overlooks the marina and boats in one of the world's largest ports.  We specialize in private events such as weddings, receptions, holiday parties, bridal and baby showers, rehearsal dinners, breakfasts, luncheons, meetings and seminars.  Our flexible space allows you to create the event that meets your needs or your dreams.  We would be delighted to discuss the possibilities for your next event and will work with you to accommodate your style and budget.  We invite you to come experience the beautiful surroundings of the venue and meet our gracious and professional staff.

Do you have to be a member of the club to host an event?

Yes, you must be a Member (or sponsored by a Member) to hold an event at the facility. Membership packets are always available for interested parties. CBYC does, however, strive to serve the community and often provides low cost room rental for meetings or events to local schools, groups and service organizations.

What is the rental fee?

Members are provided discounted rates, call the club for details. Member sponsored events have adjusted rental rates. Included in your rental are various items including tables, chairs, china, glassware and more.

What time can events start?

Wednesday - Sunday daytime events may begin set-up at 9am. Evening events may begin set-up at 3pm. CBYC will work with you to ensure adequate time to accommodate your needs.

Do I need an Event Coordinator?

CBYC does not require an event coordinator.

Will we be the only event at the Club that day?

CBYC is a Member’s club. Members will have access to the Club throughout the day and evening. However, Members who are not on your guest list are not permitted into your event space during your event.
