Fall Semester, September 6th - December 13th
Spring Semester, January 3rd - May 22nd
The program is every Monday and Wednesday from 3:30 to 6:30.

The CFJs used by the sailors are all club-owned.  These boats are about 14ft long and require two sailors for each boat.  Students will be responsible for personal equipment including PFD (life vest).

Who Can Attend?

The program is open to any youth interested in learning how to sail that can pass the swim test given the first day of camp.  Participants must be in at least eighth grade.  They can attend any local school.

Anyone between Grades 8-12 is eligible to participate.  Simply get in touch with the coach, and ask for a try-out!  The first two practices are free and scholarships are available.

Students must be confident swimmers.  A swim test will be given on the first day of class.  No exceptions will be made to this requirement.  A completed participation waiver and a medical form must be on file.

All sailors must be willing and able to follow all social distancing guidelines on and off the water.

Parents are expected to inform their children that proper self-discipline is required while in the program.  All sailors and parents will sign a Code of Conduct.  Violations of safety or other program rules may result in disciplinary action including suspension or dismissal from the program without a refund.

CBYC is committed to maintaining a safe and positive environment for its participants.
