Soft Opening Week!

Chef Andy and his crew have been busy in the CBYC galley getting ready for the launch of Sissy’s @ CBYC!

Birthday Bar Sunday’s Buffet was a great success, with more than 100 members dining with reservations and a very positive response to Chef Andy’s new offerings, presentation and service. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

This week marks the “soft opening” of Sissy’s @ CBYC, beginning Wednesday, September 30, with the last Wet Wednesday Burger Bash of the season.

On Thursday and Friday evenings, Chef Andy will feature his new daily menu, giving members another opportunity to enjoy what he and his crew have been preparing.

Then on Saturday, we turn back the clock for our Groovy 70s Party, featuring its own special 70s-inspired menu, which I’ve included below. Come hungry—and ready to get groovy!

Sunday will be our final catered-in day from one of our local neighbors while Chef Andy meets with his crew to review the soft opening, gather feedback, and make any necessary adjustments to the menu and galley operations.

A Few Important Changes

Ordering & Payment: All food orders and payments will now be handled directly through Sissy’s @ CBYC. This should also help reduce wait times at the bar, allowing our bartenders to concentrate on keeping those drink orders flowing!

Sissy’s @ CBYC will accept credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay and similar digital payment methods, as well as good old-fashioned cash (imagine that!). Please note that food purchases cannot be charged to members’ CBYC accounts.

Service Charge & Tipping: The Board of Directors has suspended the 20% service charge on food purchases. Chef Andy sets high expectations for his crew, and they are working hard to provide our members with an excellent dining experience. With the service charge suspended, we ask our members to recognize great service by tipping accordingly and rewarding the crew for their efforts.

Special Event Reservations: Going forward, reservations will be required for special dining events. Reservations allow Chef Andy and his crew to properly plan staffing, food preparation and service so we can maintain a high level of quality and provide the dining experience our members expect and deserve.

This is an exciting new chapter for CBYC dining. We appreciate everyone’s support and patience during the soft opening as Chef Andy and his crew get Sissy’s @ CBYC up and running.
